Fake Rupert profiles: The Best of the Worst

As some of you may know, I help run the RupertGrint.Net MySpace. Though we always stress that Rupert doesn't have a MySpace, people always seem to send us accounts that they believe to be Rupert.

Over time, we've found some preeeeetty funny ones out there. For your amusement, I thought I'd share them in a little segment we call..

Not only is the graphic under the "Who I'd like to meet" blatantly taken from Stephanie's header for our gallery, the manipulated graphic's link leads back to their personal photobucket account!

All the atrocious spelling aside, this profile claims that Rupert is from Italy and "Hertsfordshire, London," as if Herts were a section of London. It also sprouts Americanism like "mom" and "lax." All photos are also photo gallery sized thumbnails.. hmmmm...

The profile's header is "Rupert/in love with emma/she has no idea. There's also several mentions of soccar, not even soccer! 'Nuff said!

If you've ever seen RG.N's Rupert Facts page, this description maaaay look strangely familiar! And soccer strikes once again!

Worst Attempt to Prove its Rupert through the Profile Picture - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...ndid=152968991
We don't even have to ask where the picture actually came from, because the imposter never took the tag off the picture! They also claim Rupert is 15 despite being updated earlier this week!

After explaining that all pictures are on private because Rupert aparently hates pictues of himself besides the profile picture he sent to RG.N (with the tag cut out,) this profiler goes on to list a fanmail address with Rupert's old agent, whom he hasn't been affiliated since at least 2005.

This Bebo profile is huuuuuge pain in Rupert fans' collective butts because we know it's not Rupert, but there are very few things to prove it other than that all of the pictures can be found in our gallery and all of his mentioned "likes" are generally well known. Also, I find the mention of Budweiser a little strange becaus I didn't think it was really popular in the UK..?

So, ladies and gents, take a vote! Which fake profile is truly the worst?

Wow I really had no idea that people would sink that low, I mean to get fan's to believe that's him writing out. Wow that's just wrong!!
In my book there all pretty bad, the last one was the most believable but still, Rupert wouldn't have a myspace site, he doesn't have the time and though he loves his fans no doubt, there are other way to reach out to us.
R.G Net is where you need to go to get anything Rupert so why go somewhere fake where your just going to get your hopes up and then watch them get squashed like a bug on a wall!!

Yeah.. the people who go to great lengths to pretend to be Rupert are either just cruel or are in desperate need of some attention. A quick look-up on MySpace found 232 people pretending to be Rupert.

But there's a certain point where instead of being sad about these people, you must laugh and how pathetic their attempts at portraying Rupert are! That's where this post comes in!

Whyyyyyy people would waste their precious lives creating fake profiles is completely beyond me!

It's so hard to choose just one fake profile- they each have their own little thing that gives them away! lol

People have WAY to much spare time if they are pretending to be someone else on myspace!

So I just reread this page, Kait, and I have to say your Fraudsies were awesome! LOL

Not to mention, over half of the profiles you called out on being fakes have now been deleted! Whoot! I think we ought to consider updating the page and including a certain Twitter account.....
